Competing in the beauty pageant at the age of 32, MLee is not worried about age being an obstacle because she believes that there is no limit to dreams and passion. Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 accepts contestants from 18-33 years old, so MLee will comfortably enjoy this journey. She does not see this as an advantage or disadvantage because in the competition, all contestants have equal opportunities.

MLee did not join the beauty pageant because her music career was not successful as many people thought. She decided to register when she felt ready and wanted to develop herself. During the contest, she focused on improving herself every day and did not care about outside opinions, devoting all her efforts to shining.

MLee is grateful for the support of many Vietnamese artists, especially Le Quyen and H'hen Nie. This encouragement has become a great motivation, helping her determined to be worthy of the trust people have placed in her.

H'hen Nie has known MLee since Amazing race 2019 and became closer when the group performed many times in Beautiful sister rides the wind and turns waves. The Ede beauty queen shared a lot of experience in the beauty industry, especially teaching catwalk and mobilizing support from friends for MLee. Le Quyen also always gave her valuable words of encouragement.

Raised by Vietnamese adoptive parents since childhood, she was fortunate to receive sincere affection and learn how to behave in life. During her childhood, MLee felt self-conscious when being teased by her friends, but her adoptive parents helped her build a positive mindset.

Through difficult times, MLee gradually matured and realized the importance of being strong and independent. Living away from her family from a young age trained her to take care of herself and nurture her dreams, helping her to be resilient in the face of all challenges.

From personal experience, MLee understands and sympathizes with young people in similar situations. She believes that independence will help them face difficulties bravely. MLee advises young people not to be discouraged, because there are always loved ones waiting and encourages them to keep their faith and inner strength.

According to MLee, in any era, both men and women face difficulties in life, but women are often more affected mentally. The beauty believes that it is necessary to change social views on women, not to see them as objects of mental attack or tools to attract attention. She emphasizes the importance of gender equality in society.

Coming to Miss Universe Vietnam 2024, MLee spent 50% of her time learning catwalk, starting from zero because she was a newcomer. Since competing in the beauty pageant, the beauty has practiced wearing high heels every day. Being familiar with the stage, dancing and music, and having a good sense of style, she also had less trouble. In terms of body, MLee has been working out at the gym for a long time and has a personal trainer to have a firmer body.

After 6 episodes of reality TV, MLee continuously ranked among the top contestants and won the swimsuit and evening gown challenges. “I am extremely surprised and happy. This victory is a meaningful milestone in my journey at Miss Universe Vietnam 2024. Every day that passes, I discover more about myself and see clearly the path I am heading towards,” the French-American beauty confided. 

MLee is honing her communication skills to have a chance to shine at the finale taking place on November 14 in Ho Chi Minh City. The 11-year-old beauty is one of the top candidates predicted to win the title of Miss.
