Ho Chi Minh City, August 28 (AseanAll)  — Le Hoang Phuong, 28, was named the winner of the Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 pageant after surpassing 43 other contestants at the grand finale held in Ho Chi Minh City,Vietnam on August 27, 2023. 

According to Vietnamese media, the architect cum model hailing from Khanh Hoa province,Vietnam stands at 1.76 metres tall with body measurements of 87-63-95. She has previous experience in beauty pageant having clinched a Top 5 finisher at Miss Universe Vietnam 2022.

During the final round of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, Phuong made the Top 20 of the best in swimsuit, the Top 10 of the evening gown, and Top 5 of the Q&A sub-contests.

With professional modeling experience, beautiful Le Hoang Phuong has the ability to perform skillfully on the catwalk.  This is the advantage that helps her shine every time she appears.

In addition to the advantage of having experience as a model, Le Hoang Phuong also conveys the story of overcoming gender stereotypes in choosing a career, that architects are not only suitable for men.

Le Hoang Phuong (born in 1995) graduated with a good degree in Architecture, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology in 2021.  She is currently an engineer and CEO of an architecture company, specializing in drawing, design and construction. .

Right from the start of the Miss Hoa Binh Vietnam 2023 contest, beauty fans have noticed the contestant from Khanh Hoa Le Hoang Phuong.  Returning to the beauty arena at the age of 27, Le Hoang Phuong is considered one of the strong fighters in Miss Grand Vietnam 2023.

She will represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2023 scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City this October.

The first runner-up title of Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 went to Bui Khanh Linh. The Bac Giang native stands at 1.77 metres tall with measurements of 81-59-94 and had made the Top 5 of Miss World Vietnam 2023.

Truong Quy Minh Nhan of Thua Thien-Hue province, Le Thi Hong Hanh of Thai Binh province, and Dang Hoang Tam Nhu of Thua Thien-Hue province won the second, third, and fourth runner-up titles, respectively.

The organising board also presented sub-awards to other beauties, including Miss Fashion Pham Thi Anh Vuong, Miss Best Catwalk Bui Thi Thuc Hien, and Miss Best in Swimsuit Nguyen Thi Thu Hang.

This year marks the second edition of the beauty pageant. Nawat Itsaragrisil and Teresa Chaivisut, president and vice president of Miss Grand International, along with Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin, attended the grand finale as special guests.

Previously, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien became the first Vietnamese representative to win Miss Grand International in 2021, and Doan Thien An finished among the Top 20 of Miss Grand International 2022.
