The ASEAN-China Centre Held Work Exchanges with the Chinese Mission to ASEAN

Jakarta, March 19 (AseanAll)  — On March 18 2026, Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), led the ACC delegation to meet with Chinese Ambassador Wang Qing to ASEAN, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The two sides exchanged views on promoting the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).

Both sides agreed that, taking the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the CSP as an opportunity, they will base their efforts on the actual development needs of ASEAN Member States (AMS), leverage the platform and resources of the ACC, and deepen practical cooperation between the AMS and China in fields such as economy and trade, scientific and technological innovation, vocational education, tourism, and youth. Meanwhile, they will also tap into the potential for cooperation in areas such as the silver economy and sports, continuously promote people-to-people bonds, and work together to build an even closer ASEAN-China community with a shared future.
