Beijing , May 5 (AseanAll) — China and Laos will hold the "Friendship Shield-2023" joint exercise, China's Ministry of National Defense announced on May 5，2023.
The China-Laos “Peace Train-2022” joint humanitarian medical rescue exercise entered the phase of all-process drills at the Penghong Railway Station in Vientiane Province of Laos on July 22，2022.
According to the sources, as agreed by China and Laos, the Southern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army(PLA) will send troops to Laos in May to hold the "Friendship Shield-2023" joint exercise with the Lao People's Army.
