Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Pays Farewell Call on Myanmar Leader Min Aung Hlaing

Nay Pyi Taw, July 5 (AseanAll)  — On 4 July, 2024, Chen Hai, Ambassador of China to Myanmar, paid a farewell call on Myanmar leader Min Aung Hlaing in Naypyidaw, Myanmar, according to the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar.

Min Aung Hlaing lauded Ambassador Chen's efforts to promote the development of China-Myanmar relations during his tenure, saying that the Myanmar side attaches great importance to the relations with China and is willing to work with the Chinese side to continue to deepen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries and build a Myanmar-China community with a shared future.

Chen Hai thanked the Myanmar side for its support in his tenure and expressed China's willingness to carry forward Paukphaw friendship with all walks of life in Myanmar, deepen cooperation, and help promote peace, stability and development of Myanmar, so as to build China-Myanmar community with a shared future with more practical outcomes for the benefit of the two countries and the two peoples.


On the same day, Chen Hai had a farewell meeting with Myanmar Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe and exchanged views on bilateral relations.
