Moscow/Ankara,February 7, 2023(AseanAll)--Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 6 conveyed his condolences to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the wake of powerful deadly earthquakes that southern Türkiye.
According to Kremlin , Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Having expressed deep condolences over the devastating earthquakes in Turkey that caused numerous casualties, Vladimir Putin reaffirmed Russia’s readiness to immediately provide its Turkish partners with the necessary assistance in relieving the consequences of this natural disaster. Specific proposals have already been submitted to Turkey through the appropriate channels.
The President of Turkey warmly thanked Vladimir Putin for such a prompt and sincere response and said that he would instruct the relevant Turkish agencies to accept the help of Russian rescuers.
According to the official website of President of Türkiye, President of Russia Vladimir Putin called President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the phone, and conveyed his get well soon wishes to him over the earthquake.
President Putin extended his condolences to President Erdoğan for those who lost their lives, and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Also, President Putin informed President Erdoğan on the supports Russia would provide to Türkiye in search and rescue works as well as in dealing with disasters.
So far, the strong earthquake that occurred in the early morning of February 6 near the Syrian border in southern Türkiye has caused more than 4000 deaths and nearly 20000 injuries in both countries.
