Bangkok, November 7 (AseanAll) — On November 7, 2023, Thai Government Spokesperson Chai Wacharonke disclosed that Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Srettha Thavisin is scheduled to attend the APEC Leaders' Meeting 2023 and related activities next week. He will leave for San Francisco, U.S.A. on November 12, 2023.

The Prime Minister’s activities during the APEC Economic Leaders' Week (AELW) are as follow:
Official activities
1) APEC Leaders' Meeting and related meetings
2) Bilateral dialogues with economy leaders
3) Indo-Pacific Economic Forum (IPEF)
Other activities
4) Meetings with U.S. private sector (field visits and one-on-one discussions) / Thai private sector / Networking Reception with the private sector
5) Activity at Standford University
6) Meeting with Thai community in San Francisco
Issues to be put forward by Thailand at the APEC Leaders' Meeting 2023 include trade and investment, FTAs, infrastructure connectivity, land bridge project which will connect the Pacific and Indian Oceans, people-to-people connectivity through tourism, sustainability, digital economy and e-commerce, innovations, inclusivity and equity, poverty eradication, and disparity reduction.
Thailand will also emphasize building on the momentum of the Bangkok Goals, and reaffirm its commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero by 2065.
The Prime Minister will take the opportunity to meet with world’s business leaders to promote trade and investment activities, especially in the country’s potential fields, i.e., automotive, smart electronics, digital, finances and banking, among others.
