Ameco delivers the 24th Boeing 757 PTF Aircraft to SF Airlines

Beijing, July 24 (AseanAll)  — On July 7th, Ameco delivers the 24th Boeing 757 passenger to freighter (PTF) Aircraft to SF Airlines. 

"The delivery of the 24th aircraft today is a good witness of deep cooperation between two partners over the past years, and also a new starting point for both sides to further expand our business field." Chen Lun, CEO of Ameco stressed that SF Airlines is one of Ameco's important partners, and Ameco commits to ensure the customer’s fleet to operate safely and efficiently. We hope both sides support each other and make a steady and far-reaching progress in the future.

Li Sheng, Vice President of SF Group and Chairman of SF Airlines, said, "Over the years, Ameco has provided SF Airlines with professional, exquisite and efficient MRO services in the fields of passenger to freighter, engines, component, line maintenance, etc., which have ensured the safe operation of SF Airlines' fleet. Li Sheng hopes that the both sides uphold the principles of complementary advantages, mutual benefit and win-win situation, and actively build a new type of partnership.

In 2011, Ameco and SF Airlines established a long-term cooperation. Over the past 12 years, Ameco has provided professional and comprehensive MRO services for SF Airlines' fleet. Both partinars have made great progress in products, services, technology and management. 


In 2013, Ameco Chengdu Branch established Boeing 757 PTF capability, and SF Airlines became the first third-party customer. Through 12 years of deep cooperation in process optimization and management improvement, both sides created a high-quality PTF conversion project and won the market recognitions.

The Boeing 757-200 PTF conversion is one of Ameco's important maintenance projects, which reflects Ameco's strong engineering technology and maintenance capability. Meanwhile, the successful development of the Boeing 757 PTF conversion project has also accumulated valuable experience for the subsequent conversion work of new aircraft types.


Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering Corporation (Ameco) was established on August 1st 1989, it is a joint venture between Air China Limited and Lufthansa German Airlines. SF Airlines is the largest air cargo carrier in China.
