Phnom Penh, January 20, 2023（AseanAll）-- On the occasion of the Chinese New Year，Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed best wishes to the Chinese communities in the country.
“On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, I would like to wish all Chinese Cambodians and those who join the celebrations a happy New Year as well as good fortune,” Hun Sen wrote on his official Facebook page on January 20.
The Cambodian Premier re-appealed for attention to possible fire and for respect of traffic rules.
Hun Sen also wished his compatriots good luck and success from this year 2023 onwards.
The day before, on January 19, Hun Sen said at a ceremony that more and more Cambodians are celebrating the Chinese New Year. He also said that his wife is of Chinese descent and that every year their sons and grandchildren accompany her to their hometown for Chinese New Year.
