Thai PM and spouse chairs floral offering ceremony to bless Thai Queen’s birthday

BangkokJune 7 (AseanAll)  — Thai Prime Minister and spouse presided over the ceremony to lay the flower tray and the candle-lighting ceremony on the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's birthday, on June 3, 2023, at Sanam Luang in Bangkok.

On the Evening of June 3, 2023,  at Sanam Luang Royal Plaza, Bangkok, Thai Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, together with spouse Assoc. Prof. Naraporn Chan-o-cha, presided over the ceremony of homage offering and glory praising in celebration of Her Majesty the Queen’s birthday anniversary on June 3, 2023, according to the news released on the Thai government website on June 7.

Attending the ceremony were President of the Senate, President of the Supreme Court, presidents of constitutional organizations and spouses, cabinet members and spouses, high-level government officials, military, police, civilians, private and people sectors.

The Prime Minister and all the participants took their position, paid homage to Her Majesty’s portrait, and presented traditional cone-shaped floral and homage offerings before delivering a commemorative speech to praise Her Majesty the Queen. 

Then, The PM led all the participants to bow and pay homage to Her Majesty’s portrait again, followed by singing the Royal Anthems and chanting “Long Live the Queen” 3 times to complete the ceremony.
