Beijing, May 30 (AseanAll) — Chinese State Councilor and Defense Minister General Li Shangfu will attend the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue upon invitation and pay an official visit to Singapore from May 31 to June 4, said Senior Colonel Tan Kefei, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of National Defense on May 29.

According to Tan，Li Shangfu will deliver a speech on “China’s New Security Initiative” at the Shangri-La Dialogue and meet with heads of delegations of relevant countries during the event.
During his visit, General Li will also hold meetings and have talks with leaders of Singapore government and defense departments, said the spokesperson.
