Bangkok, May 16 (AseanAll)  — On May 16, 2023,  at the Government House, following the weekly cabinet meeting, Thai Prime Minister and Defense Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha thanked the Thai people, on behalf of the Government, for their moral support and encouragement, and for exercising their rights according to the democratic process through casting votes at the general election.

He also congratulated all the political parties to receive those votes, and affirmed his commitment to perform his duty as the incumbent Prime Minister and Government’s leader to the best of his ability until the new Government is ready to take the office.

The Prime Minister called on the public to join forces in promoting love and solidarity, instead of inciting a conflict, for national development, stability, prosperity, and sustainability. 

He urged everyone to uphold the nation’s three pillars in advancing the nation for the future of all the Thai people.
