Cambodia Earns Another World Record Title for Largest Madison Dance

Phnom PenhApril 15 (AseanAll)  —  Cambodia has just broken another Guinness World Record for the largest Madison dance during the Angkor Sankranta 2023 in Siem Reap province.

According to AKP,  a total of 4,999 people on the morning of April 15 joined the Madison dance, making Cambodia a Guinness World Record holder for the largest Madison dance.

In the Angkor Sankranta 2015, Cambodia also broke the Guinness World Record for the largest Madison dance with 2,015 participants.


On April 11, 2023, Cambodia won a world record for the Largest Display of Origami Hearts with a total of 3,917,805 hearts displayed in the compound of Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap province.


The record-breaking is part of the Beyond the Games campaign, initiated by the UYFC to contribute to promoting the 32nd ASEAN Games and 12th Para Games 2023 to be hosted for the first time by Cambodia.
