Singapore, April 10 (AseanAll) —The ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team (ASEAN-ERAT) Level 2 Course on Humanitarian Logistics was co-organised by the Singapore Civil Defence Force and the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre). The course took place on 3-7 April in Singapore with support from Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund.
The course aims to strengthen ASEAN’s capacity on humanitarian logistics operation during emergency response by providing participants with in-depth knowledge and skills. In the course, participants conducted Simulation Exercise in the format of Table-Top Exercise of ASEAN-ERAT humanitarian logistics operation. By the end of the course, participants are identified as ASEAN-ERAT Humanitarian Logistics Specialists.
