(AseanAll)  — On September 17, 2026, the Chinese Embassy in Thailand held a reception to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. 

Attendees included Wu Zhiwu, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy; Anutin Charnvirakul, Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance;  Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; as well as friends from various sectors in Thailand, diplomatic envoys, representatives of the overseas Chinese community, and representatives from Chinese enterprises and student groups.

Wu Zhiwu stated that under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China has achieved remarkable accomplishments. The Chinese side would like to work with the Thai side to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of both countries, strengthen the alignment of development strategies, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, and achieve further progress in building a China-Thailand community with a shared future.

Anutin Charnvirakul commended China's development achievements and the important role it plays in regional stability and prosperity, stating that Thailand and China should deepen strategic cooperation, jointly create development opportunities, and work together to build a Thailand-China community with a shared future.
