Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces receives courtesy call from Commander-in-Chief of Royal Thai Air Force

 (AseanAll)  —  Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), received a courtesy call from Air Chief Marshal Sakesan Kantha, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF), at the Ministry of Defence on 26 August 2026.

During the call, both sides expressed appreciation for the long-standing and cordial defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Thailand. Discussions highlighted the continued cooperation between the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the RTAF through joint exercises, professional military education, as well as officer and personnel exchange programmes.

Both sides also exchanged views on opportunities to further strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including capability development, emerging technologies, as well as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations.

The courtesy call reflected the continued commitment of both armed forces towards strengthening defence relations, enhancing mutual understanding and fostering professional cooperation between the RBAF and the RTAF.
