PH Foreign Secretary Meets US Ambassador to India and Special Envoy for South and Central Asia

Manila, July 21(AseanAll)  — Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro met with US Ambassador to India and Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Gor on 20 July 2026 in Manila. 

Ambassador Gor was accompanied by US Ambassador to the Philippines Lee Lipton.

Secretary Lazaro and the two US Ambassadors discussed various security, economic, and industry concerns of the Philippines and the US.

Ambassador Gor is in the Philippines to attend a meeting of the four-nation diplomatic partnership known as the Quad, comprised of the United States, Australia, India, and Japan. 

The meeting portrays the broad and developed relationship between the Philippines and the US, as well as its growing relationship with like-minded nations.
