Vung Tau, August 11 (AseanAll) — For the first time, the 2023 Vung Tau Beer Festival((Vung Tau Beerfest)) will be held in the Vietnam's southern coastal city of Vung Tau on September 2 and 3, 2023.
On the afternoon of August 9, the People’s Committee of Vung Tau City (Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province) held a press conference to announce the Vung Tau Beer Festival 2023 – Vung Tau BeerFest.

Co-organised by the Vung Tau City People's Committee and Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO) on September 2, the festival will introduce different foods and especially beers from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the US, and Germany complemented by 10 hours of non-stop music and entertainment.
The event will take place from September 2nd to September 3rd at the Square of the Flagpole in Bai Sau, the city center of Vung Tau. Attendees can enjoy cultural experiences of beer consumption and diverse cuisine, combined with a lively music program lasting continuously for 10 hours.

Ms.Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, vice chairman of Vung Tau City People's Committee, at the press conference said that the beer festival would set the stage for a series of coming activities that is expected to elevate Vung Tau to an internationally renowned city of festivals.
"Festival-goers can look forward to an international food and beer drinking experience from six different countries," she said. "Asian street food from Japan, South Korea and Thailand; a US-style BBQ Garden Party and a German-inspired giant beer festival mixed with the excitement of Vietnam’s Bui Vien and Ta Hien streets which will be reconstructed on Bai Sau Beach."
The festival is total free of charge for local people and tourists to visit and experience, but access on September 2 for the main stage activities will cost VND1.50 million per person for the VVIP zone which includes beer, food, gifts and interaction with performers; and the VIP zone for VND500,000 a ticket per person, which includes two beer cans, one snack and gifts.
Chairman of Vung Tau City, Mr. Hoang Vu Thanh, shared that the city was enjoying fast and sustainable development with a high annual growth rate.
"Vung Tau is the country's first city to be honoured with two consecutive ASEAN Clean Tourism City awards," he said. "The city sincerely looks forward to developing tourism products that reflect our local culture. The 2023 Vung Tau Beer Fest is the opportunity to introduce to domestic and international friends not only the scenery and environment of Vung Tau but also our history, culture and hospitable nature.”
