Phnom Penh, March 11 (AseanAll)  — The Government of Australia will continue to support and cooperate with Cambodia in developing her digital human resources.

The commitment was reaffirmed by Derek Yip, Ambassador of Australia to Cambodia, when he paid a courtesy call on Chea Vandeth, Cambodian Minister of Post and Telecommunications, at the ministry office in Phnom Penh on March 10,2025.

During the meeting, Chea Vandeth briefed his guest on the priority work and achievements attained by the ministry, including training civil servants in essential digital skills, developing human capital in digital field at all levels, digital government transformation work, launch of digital government programme and platform, and the progress of community technology centres.

The Ambassador praised the achievements of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications of Cambodia and the cooperation between the two countries in the fields of telecommunications, digitalisation, digital transformation and digital security.
