Royal Brunei Armed Forces Deputy Commander attends the 2025 Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense virtual meeting

(AseanAll)  — On February 5,2025, Brigadier General (U) Dato Seri Pahlawan Mohammad Sharif, Deputy Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) attended the 2025 Indo-Pacific Chiefs of Defense (CHOD) virtual meeting.  

The virtual meeting was hosted by Admiral Samuel Paparo, Commander of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) and attended by 27 Chiefs of Defence and representatives from across the Indo-Pacific region. 

The meeting focused on regional security issues and strategies to strengthen cooperation for advancing global security. 

Participants also had the opportunity to propose topics of common concern to be addressed during the in-person 2025 CHOD Conference, scheduled to take place in the Gulf of Thailand, Kingdom of Thailand from 26 to 28 August 2025.
