(AseanAll)  — On January 22, 2025, President of the Republic of Timor-Leste, J. Ramos-Horta met with Julia Bishop, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Myanmar, during the World Economic Forum, discussing the ongoing crisis in the country.

The bilateral meeting, held between 5:00 and 5:30 PM, focused on addressing the current dynamic situation in Myanmar, emphasizing the critical need for progress in the peace process and exploring potential international and regional approaches to support a sustainable solution.
