Phnom Penh,November 7 (AseanAll) — Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has expressed his congratulations to Donald J. Trump on his return as the President of the United States of America.
“On behalf of the Royal Government and people of Cambodia, I have great pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations for your historic return as President of the United States. This great victory is a true testament to the trust and confidence that the American people have in your leadership,” he wrote in a message dated Nov. 6.
“Your return comes at a most crucial time not only for the American people but also for the world at large. Under your wise leadership, I am confident that the indispensable U.S. role in promoting stability, security and prosperity will be further strengthened,” Samdech Thipadei underlined.
The Cambodian Premier added that the Royal Government and people of Cambodia attach great importance to the long-standing bonds of friendship between the two countries, which mark their 75th anniversary next year.
“We are fully committed to working closely with your esteemed administration to elevate our existing good bilateral ties to greater heights, and will spare no effort to advance the ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during Cambodia’s tenure as country coordinator for ASEAN-U.S. dialogue relations,” he stressed.
Hun Manet concluded his message with best wishes to Donald J. Trump for fulfilling his noble duties at the helm of the United States of America.
