(AseanAll)  — On 28 September 2024 on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, SOK Chenda Sophea, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a bilateral meeting with Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, at the United Nations Headquarters, in New York.

Both sides discussed efforts to further promote friendship and cooperation, particularly in exchanges of visits of leaders, businessmen, trade, investment and tourism of the two countries.

After the meeting, SOK Chenda Sophea and Rashid Meredov, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations.
