Indonesian President Jokowi Installs Three New Deputy Ministers

(AseanAll)  — Indonesian President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo on July 18,2024 at the Merdeka Palace, in Jakarta, installed three deputy ministers of the Indonesian Onward Cabinet for the remaining 2019-2024 term.

The newly-inaugurated deputy ministers are Sudaryono (Deputy to Agriculture Minister), Thomas A.M. Djiwandono (Deputy to Finance Minister/Deputy to Head of the Investment Coordinating Board), and Yuliot Tanjung (Deputy to Investment Minister).

The inauguration was carried out based on Decree of President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 45/M of 2024 on Dismissal and Appointment of Deputy to Ministers of the Indonesia Onward Cabinet for the 2019-2024 Term signed by Indonesian President Jokowi on July 18, 2024.

After the reciting of the Presidential Decree, Indonesian President Jokowi led the swearing-in ceremony of the new deputy ministers.

“I do solemnly swear by God that I pledge my allegiance to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will uphold all laws and regulations in an honest manner for my service to the nation and the state. I will uphold the code of ethics and be fully responsible in carrying out my duties,” reads the oat.
