Yangon, September 25 (AseanAll) — The 48th escort task group of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, Tang Shan, Da Qing and Tai Hu, arrived at Yangon Port on September 24, 2026, starting a goodwill visit to Myanmar,according to Myanmar News Agency.
Senior officials from the Tatmadaw (Navy), staff members from the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, and relevant officials welcomed the fleets.
Led by Senior Captain Xu Fang, the task group comprises officers and personnel of the PLA Navy.
During the visit, the delegation will tour notable sites in Yangon and participate in friendship sports activities with Myanmar counterparts.
