Vietnamese Finance minister leads Viet Nam–Laos Cooperation Committee

Ha Noi,  July 18 (AseanAll)  — Vietnamese Minister of Finance Ngo Van Tuan shall serve as Chairman of the Viet Nam–Laos Cooperation Committee under the Intergovernmental Committee for Bilateral Cooperation between the two countries, according to a Decision signed by the Vietnamese Prime Minister.

According to Vietnamese government portal(VGP), Ngo will be assisted by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Quoc Phuong as the Vice Chairman of the Viet Nam–Laos Cooperation Committee.

Members of the Viet Nam–Laos Cooperation Committee include Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van, and senior officials from the Government Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Construction, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.

Duong Hung Cuong, Deputy Director General of the Department of Debt Management and External Economic Relations under the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam shall serve as Secretary of the Viet Nam–Laos Cooperation Committee.
