Jakarta, March 19 (AseanAll)  — On March 18 2026, Shi Zhongjun, Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC), led the ACC delegation to meet with Chinese Ambassador Wang Lutong to Indonesia, in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

The two sides exchanged views on better fulfill ACC’s role in deepening the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and advancing the building of a Indonesia-China community with a shared future. Both sides agreed that Indonesia, as a major ASEAN country with a strategic location and prominent role, requires closer coordination and alignment between the ACC and the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. 

They emphasized the need to focus on practical cooperation in areas such as economy, trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges, continuously solidify the foundation of public opinion, promote mutual understanding, and further promote Indonesia-China relations as well as ASEAN-China relations.
