Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste Meets with Commander of Dili District Police Station

Dili, March 20 (AseanAll)  — On March 19, 2026, Xu Xingqiang, Minister-Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Timor-Leste, met with Orlando Gomes, Commander of the Dili District Police Station. 

The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening law enforcement cooperation, implementing the tripartite meeting mechanism, and further safeguarding the legal rights and interests of Chinese Enterprises and Overseas Chinese in Timor-Leste.

On the afternoon of March 17, the Chinese Embassy sent staff to visit Chinese businesses in the Tasi-Tolu area, Dili, learning about their operations and security conditions and reminding them to strengthen security precautions.
