Washington D.C., February 19 (AseanAll) — U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono on 19 February 2026 in Washington, D.C., according to U.S. Department of State.
Rubio and Sugiono affirmed the contribution of our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership to a secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific region and recommitted to deepening mutually beneficial economic and security cooperation.
The Secretary also expressed gratitude to the Foreign Minister for Indonesia’s support for the Board of Peace as a founding member, as well as for its commitment to post-conflict reconstruction in Gaza.
