Bangkok, January 19 (AseanAll)  — Thailand acknowledges the receipt of the invitation letter from the President of the United States Donald J. Trump, regarding the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict and the U.S. initiative to establish the Board of Peace, and is reviewing the details,according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

In principle, Thailand welcomes an initiative that would help support a lasting peace in the Middle East and humanitarian efforts to address the plight of the Palestinian people. 

"We also hope that such initiative will be driven by the aspirations of the Palestinian people and supported by regional countries," the Ministry said.

Thailand reiterates our support for the continued efforts of all parties concerned to realise the two-State solution, by which the States of Israel and Palestine live side-by-side in peace and security, in accordance with international law and the relevant United Nations resolutions.
