Manila, January 6 (AseanAll) — On January 6,2026,Jing Quan, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines, meets with the Philippine Council for Foreign Relations led by its Chairman Ruben J. Pascual and President Alejandro T. Flores.
The two sides exchange views on issues of mutual concern, including properly and effectively managing maritime differences, stabilizing and advancing China-Philippines relations.
Jing Quan emphasizes that friendly relations between China and the Philippines serve the common interests of the two countries and their peoples, and that China’s development represents an opportunity, not a threat, to the Philippines.
