(AseanAll)  — Myanmar Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Than Swe, received Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Mr. Deng Xijun, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar in Nay Pyi Taw on 27 December 2025.

The discussion focused on further enhancement of the existing Pauk-Phaw relation, building a community of shared future between the two countries, and accelerating mutually beneficial cooperation. 

In addition, they discussed continued cooperation for maintaining peace and stability along the Myanmar-China border, the current developments on peace process and national reconciliation, the continued constructive support of China on the efforts of Myanmar to achieve lasting peace and socio-economic development for its people, and to continue cooperation in combatting online scamming and other illegal activities in border areas. 

Both sides reaffirmed their mutual support in regional and multilateral levels, and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
