Dili,November 18 (AseanAll) — On November 18th, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to Timor-Leste Ms. Wang Wenli met with Regio da Cruz Salu, President of the Special Administrative Region of Oé-Cusse-Ambeno (RAEOA),Timor-Leste.
The two sides exchanged views on the development of the Oé-Cusse Special Economic Zone and pragmatic cooperation.
Wang Wenli recalled the history of friendly exchanges between China and Timor-Leste and shared China's experience in building Special Economic Zones and Border Economic Cooperation Zones.
She noted that Oé-Cusse is rich in resources, enjoys significant geographical advantages, and holds huge development potential. China stands ready to strengthen exchanges and ties with Oé-Cusse, explore potential areas of cooperation, and create more well-being and opportunities for the peoples of both sides.
