Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Attends JAWI Food Bank Contribution Ceremony with Malaysia’s Religious Affairs Minister

Kuala Lumpur,November 18 (AseanAll)  — On November 18, 2025,Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing met with Dato’ Dr. Haji Mohd Na'im Mokhtar, Minister in the Malaysian Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) and jointly attended a ceremony for the Chinese Embassy's contribution to the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (JAWI) Food Bank.

Ouyang Yujing said, Chinese President Xi Jinping has made a successful state visit to Malaysia this year, during which both sides announced the building of a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future, elevating China-Malaysia relations to new heights.“Under the strategic guidance of the leaders of the two countries, China-Malaysia exchanges at all levels have been frequent, while pragmatic cooperation across various fields has yielded fruitful results, bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries. 

Ouyang Yujing said that Chinese Embassy will continue working with Malaysia to support people in need and enhance people-to-people friendship, along with the development of China-Malaysia relations.”

Dr. Haji Mohd Na'im Mokhtar commended the development of Malaysia-China relations and thanked Chinese Embassy for lending a hand to the Malaysian people. 

Mokhtar said that China's kind gesture is an embodiment of the Malaysia-China friendship, and Malaysia will work with China to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation, as well as enhance people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations to deepen the Malaysia-China friendship.
