Jakarta, October 31 (AseanAll) — On October 31, 2025, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn held a pull-aside meeting with the Secretary of War of the United States, Peter Brian Hegseth, on the sidelines of the 19th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM), 12th ADMM-Plus and Related Meetings, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

They discussed ASEAN-US relations and exchanged views on emerging global security issues as well as on potential opportunities to further enhance ASEAN-US defence cooperation.
