Seri Begawan, June 30 (AseanAll) — Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received an introductory call from Naureen Ahsan, High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam on 30 June 2025.

Also in attendance was Chief of Staff, RBAF and Director of Intelligence, Ministry of Defence. 

During the call, the Commander RBAF expressed his appreciation of the warm and cordial relations, fostered through the close relations rooted in the common desire in securing peace, stability and development. This was achieved by the exchange of visits by both side’s military officials, military exercises, military and defence related meetings, trainings and courses. Commander RBAF hopes the Royal Brunei Armed Forces and Bangladesh Armed Forces will continue to work together to continue the strong defence relations.

Naureen Ahsan was appointed as High Commissioner-Designate the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam since 06 September 2024.
