Mandalay, April 2 (AseanAll) — On April 2 at 5:40 pm local time, the China Search and Rescue Team and China International Search and Rescue Team organized and dispatched with the participation of the Chinese army successfully pulled a 52-year-old Myanmar man from the rubble of the Golden Village Hotel in Mandalay.
The survivor had been trapped for nearly 125 hours and had normal vital signs when rescued. He was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
The rescue operation also involved participation from the HKSAR search and rescue team and the Shenzhen Rescue Volunteers Federation.
Since the disaster struck, Chinese official rescue teams and civilian emergency forces have been working around the clock in an urgent effort to save lives. To date, they have successfully rescued nine survivors.
