(AseanAll) — With the consent of Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, a senior officer of the Royal Armed Forces Brunei (RBAF) has been promoted on March 28 2025 from Lieutenant Colonel to Substantive Colonel.
The rank insignia was presented by Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF, for the promotion of Colonel Mohammad Salehudin bin Dato Paduka Haji Puasa, Aide-De-Camp to His Majesty Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a ceremony that took place at the Officers' Mess at Bolkiah Garrison.
Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Minister of Defence II, members of the Defence Executive Committee and RBAF Executive Committee, Military Directors and Senior Officers of the Ministry of Defence as well as family members of the promoted officer. 
The ceremony concluded with a Doa Selamat recited by Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Mujib bin Haji Japar, Acting Director of the RBAF Religious Directorate (JAMA'AT).
