Hanoi, January 4 (AseanAll) — Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has decided to appoint Major General Dang Hong Duc as new Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Public Security, according to Vietnamese government portal(VGP).

Dang Hong Duc was promoted to the new role from his previous position as the Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam.
He, born in 1977, in Nam Dinh province, was former Director of the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department.
The Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam is headed by General Luong Tam Quang who is assisted by Tran Quoc To, Le Quoc Hung, Le Van Tuyen, Nguyen Van Long, Pham The Hung, Nguyen Ngoc Lam, and Dang Hong Duc as Deputy Ministers.
