Manila,November 4 (AseanAll) — In celebration of the 40th anniversary of Philippines-Brunei Darussalam diplomatic relations, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam, will be undertaking a Working Visit to the Philippines on 4 to 7 November 2024.

The Philippines and Brunei Darussalam share warm and cordial relations owing to historic people-to-people exchanges and a shared commitment to a peaceful and prosperous region. The two countries continue to work together for stronger bilateral cooperation, especially in areas of tourism, agriculture, and defense.
On 28 and 29 May of this year, Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. undertook a State Visit to Brunei Darussalam, which led to the signing of agreements on tourism cooperation, maritime cooperation, and standards of training, certification and watchkeeping for seafarers, which are anticipated to positively impact growth and development in the region.
The Working Visit of Princess Hajah Masna is expected to build on the gains of the President’s visit by fortifying the close relationship between the two nations, particularly in the areas of culture and economic cooperation.
