(AseanAll) — On October 22, 2024, Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam,received the Vice-President of China Han Zheng in audience at Istana Nurul Iman,in Bandar Seri Begawan,Brunei.
At the welcome ceremony, the monarch and the vice-president discussed extensively on the excellent state of bilateral relations between Brunei and China, particularly in the areas of trade and investment, energy, agriculture and people-to-people exchanges.
Touching on regional and international matters of mutual importance, the sultan and the vice-president also agreed on the need to work closely together for the shared benefit of the two countries.
The visit marks the vice-president’s first official visit to the Sultanate since his appointment as the vice-president of China, which will further reaffirm the close and friendly relationship between the two countries.
The same day, Brunei Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee also welcomed the vice-president.
