Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces receives courtesy call from Ambassador of France to Brunei

(AseanAll)  — On October 1,2024,Yang Mulia Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), received a courtesy call from Mrs Eve Lubin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Brunei Darussalam. 

Also present were the Chief of Staff RBAF and Director of Intelligence.

During the call, both sides expressed appreciation for the friendly bilateral relations between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of France, established by the Agreement in Defence Matters and Defence Equipment signed on 25 February 1999. Brunei Darussalam values its relationship with the Republic of France that has continued to progress through various avenues, including regular exchange of visits, port calls, attendance at exhibitions, training, courses, and meetings.

Eve Lubin was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Negara Brunei Darussalam since August 2024.
