Chiv Keng Appointed Acting President of Supreme Court of Cambodia

Phnom Penh, August 16 (AseanAll)  — Chiv Keng has been appointed Acting President of the Supreme Court of Cambodia in replacement of Kitti Nittikosal Pundit Dith Munty who retired.


According to an official note of the Ministry of Justice of Cambodia signed on August 14 by Minister Koeut Rith, Chiv Keng, current Vice President of the Supreme Court, will remain at the post until there is an official nomination of the President of the Supreme Court.


On August 11, Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, signed a royal decree allowing  Kitti Nittikosal Pundit Dith Munty to retire from August 15, 2023 onwards at his request due to old age and health problem.
