(AseanAll)  — On August 26,2026,Prime Minister of Vietnam Le Minh Hung hosted a meeting with Chinese-funded enterprises in Vietnam, with leaders from over ten ministries and agencies—including the Government Office, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade—in attendance. 

Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei attended the meeting with representatives from the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and enterprises in infrastructure, energy, high-end manufacturing, communications, finance, and other sectors.

He Wei noted that China and Vietnam have entered a new stage of building a high-level community with a shared future, and that the level of bilateral investment cooperation, the efficiency of supply-chain coordination, and the extent of benefits to the people are unprecedented. He expressed the hope that the Vietnamese Government will continue to improve the business environment and provide safeguards for Chinese enterprises to take root and develop locally.

Le Minh Hung spoke positively of the results of Chinese enterprises' investment in Vietnam, stating that the high-level leadership of the two Parties and the two countries has reached important consensus on deepening the alignment of development strategies, and that the Vietnamese Government will effectively safeguard the development rights and interests of Chinese enterprises and set an example of mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.

The meeting was held in a friendly and enthusiastic atmosphere. The Chinese-funded enterprises present and the competent Vietnamese ministries and agencies engaged in in-depth exchanges on trade and investment facilitation, strengthening supply-chain alignment, and other topics, and agreed unanimously to share development opportunities and jointly create a bright future.
