Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) receives a courtesy call from Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force

(AseanAll)  — Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) received a courtesy call from General Dato’ Sri Haji Muhamad Norazlan bin Aris, Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force on September 23, 2025. 

Also in attendance was Commander of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Chief of Staff, RBAF and Acting Director of Intelligence, Ministry of Defence of Brunei . 

During the call, the RBAF Commander warmly welcomed the presence of General Dato’ Sri at the Ministry of Defence and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to General Dato’ Sri on his appointment as the 21st Chief of Royal Malaysian Air Force. The RBAF Commander also congratulated General Dato' Sri on the recent award of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF) Honorary Flying Badge (or Honorary Pilot Badge).

The RBAF Commander then expressed his appreciation for the longstanding bilateral relations between the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF) and the Royal Malaysian Air Forces (RMAF) This relationship has been strengthened through exchange visits, military trainings, meetings, and courses. Commander RBAF hopes that RBAirF and the RMAF will continue to work together to maintain strong defence relations.

General Dato’ Sri Haji Muhamad Norazlan bin Aris is currently in Brunei Darussalam for an official visit from 22 September 2025 to 24 September 2025.
