(AseanAll)  — Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has sent separate congratulatory messages to Xi Jinping, President and General Secretary Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, and Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, on the occasion of the Spring Festival.

“On the auspicious occasion of the Spring Festival, or the Chinese New Year, I am pleased to extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency and all the friendly people of China,”  Hun Sen wrote in his messages dated January 27, 2025.

“As Cambodia and China continue to collaborate closely and actively on building a high-quality, high-level, and high-standard community with a shared future, I am confident that the New Year will provide fresh impetus to advance our ironclad friendship and further deepen our Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation,” he underlined.

Hun Sen concluded his messages with best wishes of continued good health, happiness, and greater success to Xi Jinping and Li Qiang.

This year, the Chinese Lunar New Year falls this year on January 29.
