Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Meets with President-elect of Brunei-China One Belt One Road Association

(AseanAll)  — On 8th January, 2025, Xiao Jianguo, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Brunei Darussalam Met with Ang Kian Guan, President-elect of Brunei-China One Belt One Road Association and held friendly exchanges with some newly elected leaders of the Association.

Xiao Jianguo congratulated the new leadership of the Association chaired by Ang Kian Guan and spoke highly of important contributions made by the Association since its establishment in promoting China-Brunei Belt and Road cooperation. 

Xiao also expressed his expectation that under the leadership of Ang Kian Guan, Brunei-China One Belt One Road Association could further play a good role in promoting China-Brunei relations as well as practical cooperation in various fields.

Ang Kian Gua expressed readiness to continue to strengthen cooperation with the Embassy, and to play a greater role in promoting the friendship and practical cooperation between Brunei and China.

Ang Kian Gua also expressed his sincere condolences for the earthquake in Xizang, China.
