Brunei Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office receives farewell call from High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan, July 8 (AseanAll) — Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Retired) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Brunei Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II, received a farewell call from Ambra Dickie, High Commissioner of Canada to Brunei Darussalam on July 8,2025.

During the farewell call, both sides reaffirmed the friendly and positive bilateral defence ties between Brunei Darussalam and Canada. The Minister also took the opportunity to express his appreciation for Ambra Dickie's contributions and support towards the defence and military relations between both countries.  

Ambra Dickie presented her Letter of Credence to the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam on 20 October 2022.
