Phnom Penh, January 10 (AseanAll) — On January 9,2025,Cambodian Minister of Tourism HUOT Hak received a courtesy visit from Mohammed Ismaeil A. Dahlwy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Cambodia, and his colleagues, according to the Ministry of Tourism of Cambodia.
The meeting focused on preparing a working group to formalise a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism and the Embassy of Saudi Arabia.
The Ambassador highly valued Cambodia’s progress in terms of peace, harmony, and religious freedom.
On the samde day, Cambodian Minister of Tourism HUOT Hak also held talks with Anatoly BOROVIK, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Cambodia, during which the Russian diplomat praised the current political, social and good security stability in Cambodia, stressing that these factors are crucial in convincing more Russian tourists to visit Cambodia.
On January 21, 2025(Davos local time), at the DP World House, Davos, Swiss Federation, during her attendance at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025 (WEF AM25), Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, chairman and chief executive officer of DP World (UAE).
