(AseanAll) — Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, paid a courtesy call on the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Sam Mostyn AC, in Canberra, on November 27, 2024.
The two sides exchanged views on ASEAN-Australia relations and the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership following the momentum of the successful convening of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations held in Melbourne earlier this year.
Kao Kim Hourn also expressed his appreciation for Australia’s continuous support for ASEAN Community building and integration.
Dr. Kao also had a tour of the Government House of Australia during the call.
